First time experimenting with charcoal. Mostly just a test of how different finger pressures affect the page.
Like 1, I tried fitting in multiple colors and shapes into one. Can you see them? It went teeth—flowers—face—.
The start and end of my single color experiments. Used all shades of green, what do you see this as?
The first time I attempted to shape the charcoal into a somewhat human shape. No direct reference photo, rather a lot of different model photos stitched together in my brain.
I made this because I really loved making the skin color in 4, so I wanted to try again but make a different color. I like this one for no reason.
Non-charcoal, I just wanted to try drawing clothes. The main dress was from a Youtube tutorial.
AAAaaaah!!! My favoirte, I usually don't have strong feelings about my work, but I LOVE this one. I sketched it, then demoed it, then it all came together so well. I gave to a friend for their birthday.
Modelled after the Samba Bossa Nova Putumayo World Music cover. This was, again, a test to see if I could make an actual clear, human shape.
